CNAS Group Visits

Get ready to explore the UC Riverside College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences (CNAS)!

CNAS is happy to host groups from middle, high school, community colleges and community-based organizations (CBOs) on campus for an immersive look at all that CNAS has to offer. There's no better way to get a feel for life at CNAS than by hanging out with current students, faculty and staff and exploring campus buildings and resources!

Group visits include:

  • A walking tour of CNAS buildings and on-campus resources*
  • A general information session/overview of CNAS conducted by a faculty or staff member
  • A student panel featuring current CNAS students

*The CNAS walking tour will feature CNAS buildings and resources as pictured below. For a comprehensive tour of the entire UCR campus, please contact Undergraduate Admissions.

Important reminders:

  • Registration for a CNAS group visit is not guaranteed. You will be contacted by a CNAS Communications team member to confirm your visit date.
  • Late arrivals will not be accommodated. Groups must be ready to start their on-campus activities at their designated time.
  • Cancellations should be completed at least 2 business days prior to the scheduled visit. Contact cnascommunications@ucr.edu or call (951) 827-7603 to cancel.
  • Please read the CNAS Group Visit Contract carefully. CNAS reserves the right to cancel reservations for groups that fail to meet the criteria listed on the form. Failure to meet the criteria may also prevent your ability to book future reservations with CNAS.

  • The walking tour includes hills and stairs, so please make sure your group wears comfortable shoes. Visits are conducted rain or shine, so please bring weather-appropriate attire.
  • While housing, athletics, and dining will be discussed verbally during the tour and guests are encouraged to ask questions, CNAS tour guides will not walk students through the housing areas, athletics facilities or dining options as we are not permitted visitation to those areas.
  • CNAS does not provide meal vouchers, but guests are welcome to bring their own meals, or visit our on-campus dining locations. Please note that all on-campus dining locations are cashless.
  • We expect that all group visit participants, including students, will be inclusive, respectful, and hold themselves and each other accountable. Chaperones should be aware of and work to control excessive talking and any inappropriate actions or language. If guest behavior jeopardizes the holistic safety of individuals or the quality of the visit, CNAS reserved the right to end the visit at any time.
