Two CNAS faculty awarded by the Pacific Branch of Entomological Society of America (PBESA)

According to the Pacific Branch President, the Branch received 31 nomination packets for thirteen different awards. All nominees represented nine different institutions across six U.S. states and two other countries. The winners were selected by a diverse group of thirty-six anonymous judges from the Branch.

The Entomological Society of America (ESA) is the world's largest organization that serves the professional and scientific needs of entomologists and individuals in related disciplines. Founded in 1889, ESA has over 7,000 members affiliated with educational institutions, health agencies, private industry, and government. Members are researchers, teachers, extension service personnel, administrators, marketing representatives, research technicians, consultants, students, pest management professionals, and hobbyists.

The awards will be presented at the Pacific Branch meeting in Reno, NV from June 10 to 13, 2018.
